From the Editor

Dear Readers, welcome to the second edition of Unique
St. Barth magazine! I would like to thank all our partners
and readers for their support in making our first edition a
wonderful adventure, and making the second magazine a
longer lasting dream.
The making of this year’s edition has been rich in exciting
experiences, such as the photographing of the magazine’s
cover, to give just one example ... To answer a question that a
friend of mine asked about sharks: My dear readers, no shark
incident involving humans has ever been recorded in St. Barth,
and the couple of shark species that are found in the waters
surrounding the island are entirely harmless, timid creatures…
Knocking on the door of the upcoming touristic season, we
are delighted to be able to bring to your attention once again
our beautiful Caribbean island of St. Barth. Whether you are
a newcomer or a regular visitor to St. Barth, this second
edition will provide you with all the latest news on St. Barth's
latest developments, as well as the most valuable, essential
information.
As I have been preaching the good word about St. Barth to all
those who wanted to hear me for the past couple of years,
I'd like to welcome and encourage any hesitant potential
visitors - come and enjoy what we call "the St. Barth lifestyle,"
because St. Barth is not only a marvelous and exclusive
holiday destination, but also a way of life. No place in the
world can provide as much security, tranquility and as many
friendly people as St. Barth can offer, and as I have heard many
times from our Russian friends "if paradise exists, it won’t be
far from looking like St. Barth."
So, what are you waiting for, let's all share together the St.

Я рада приветствовать вас на страницах второго номера журнала «Уникаль-
ный Сен-Барт»! Хотела бы выразить благодарность всем нашим партнерам
и читателям за поддержку в создании первого номера, превратившегося
в удивительное приключение. В этом году работа над журналом подарила
мне много потрясающих впечатлений и переживаний, одним из кото-
рых стала, к примеру, съемка обложки… Отвечаю на вопрос об акулах,
который уже задал один мой друг. Дорогие читатели, никаких несчастных
случаев с участием акул и людей на Сен-Барте не выявлено, а те немного-
численные виды акул, обнаруженные в ближайших водах, ничуть не
опасны. В преддверии туристического сезона мы очень рады в очередной
раз обратить ваше внимание на прекрасный карибский остров Сен-Барт.
Постоянные гости и те, кто приедет сюда впервые, найдут во втором
номере журнала наиболее ценную информацию и узнают свежие новости
острова.
Последние пару лет я расхваливаю Сен-Барт каждому, с кем мне удается
поговорить о нем. Я приглашаю тех, кто еще не решился, получить истин-
ное удовольствие от так называемого «St Barth lifestyle», ведь Сен-Барт –
это не только остров для прекрасного и эксклюзивного отдыха, но
и целый образ жизни. Нигде в мире вы не найдете более безопасного,
спокойного и дружелюбного места. Как говорят мои русские друзья,
«если и есть рай на Земле, он должно быть очень похож на Сен-Барт».
